We give as another way to worship the Lord. We give because we are blessed, not for fear of anything negative in our lives. We give because we recognize God as the provider of all that we have. LOCALLY
FSBC Delhi believes in creating opportunities to serve and bless our local Central Valley community. A portion of your financial contributions stay in the area, enabling us to do the work that God has called us to in our local community.
We have specific ministries we support, such as the SBC's North American Mission Board, the CSBC's California Missions Offering, and local organizations such as the Merced Rescue Mission. We also have our own initiatives, that we spend your generous donations on.
WHY GIVE?
As people of God we give because God has given so much to us. God doesn't need our money, but he does want what it represents: our obedience, our purposes, passions, and priorities.
We give to make a Kingdom impact locally in Delhi, the Central Valley, across the country, as well as globally through missions efforts.
We give to increase the Kingdom through our generosity so that others may know Jesus better!
GLOBALLY
When Jesus commissioned his disciples before His ascension, He said, "Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you." (Matthew 28:18-20)
At FSBC Delhi, we take this command of making disciples in all nations very seriously, which leads us to giving a portion of your tithes and offerings toward work God is doing globally through the SBC's International Missions Board.
